The American Board of Otolaryngology
The American Board of Otolaryngology was founded in 1924 to ensure that doctors meet the highest possible standards of expertise in this field. To be certified, a doctor must hold an M.D. from an approved medical school and complete at least four years of residency training and hold a valid license to practice medicine. And, finally, the doctor must pass written and oral examinations which test knowledge and skill in diagnosing and treating problems related to the ear, nose, throat, head and neck.

Dr. Egan is expertly trained and has over 12 years of experience. He received his MD from The George Washington University where he graduated with distinction in 1998. He completed his residency training in otolaryngology at The Boston University Medical Center where he was selected to be Chief Resident in 2003.
